This notice explains how Buzz Solicitors ("we", "us") handles personal data in line with UK data protection law. Last updated 30 July 2026.

Who we are

Buzz Solicitors is a trading name of AD Solicitors Limited, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 15475042), registered office 1 Charterhouse Mews, London EC1M 6BB. For any privacy query, email hello@buzzsolicitors.co.uk.

What we collect

When you contact us or subscribe, we collect the details you give us — such as your name, email address, phone number, company and the content of your enquiry. If you become a client, we collect the further information needed to act for you, including identity-verification data we are required by law to hold.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for.
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including anti-money-laundering checks.
  • To send you our newsletter, where you have subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time).

Legal basis

We process your data to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to perform our contract with you, to comply with our legal obligations, for our legitimate interests in running and marketing the firm, and — for our newsletter — on the basis of your consent.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate (such as our email and hosting providers), where the law requires it, or with your consent.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations — which for legal files can be several years after a matter ends.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing and to data portability, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these, email hello@buzzsolicitors.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies necessary for it to function. If we add analytics in future, we will update this notice and, where required, ask for your consent first.
